The Prince of Wales is accustomed to hustling, but he had to extend himself during a five-hour visit to this south coast resort, in order to fit into the plans of tho townsfolk, whp made him the leading figure in nineteen different ceremonies. The chief ceremony was the opening of a new wing of Boscombe Hospital. The Prince smiled, bowed, and ‘speeches?’ his way through the ceremonies, and was cheered bv throngs of townsfolk, as well as people from the outlying districts, who had journeyed here in 'buses. He met, among other people, a r - year-old woman who proudlv boasted -that she had made his first baby clothes.
