AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH
DELEGATES TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND. CONFERENCE IN AUSTRALIA. Wellington, November 24. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. O. J. Hawken. states that >it the Imperial Agricultural Research Conference which opened in London on October 4. it was resolved that a similar conference be held every five years. On the invitation of the Australian Government it was decided to hold the next conference in Australia, and the New Zealand Government, through the High Commissioner. Sir James Parr, issued a cordial invitation to the delegates to include the Dominion in their visit. The High Commissioner was authorised to state that the Government would be glad to co-operate with Australia in endeavouring to rnase the. conference in every way valuaiik and successful. The Government was now advised that the invitation has been received with great pleasure, and Lord Bedisloe was sure that as many delegates as possible would be glad to include New Zealand in their itinerary.
