A petition in bankruptcy has been tiled bv George Vortigen Knight, farmer, of Onga Onga. In the Auckland Police Court to day. Frederick Radford, who deserted from .H.M.S Renown in February last and was arrested last week foi theft of 27/G from a room mate, pleaded guilty to both offences. He was sentenced to seven days* im prisonment for theft and will then ba handed over to the naval autfiontiea —(Press Association.)
