HAWKE’S BAY ». WAIROA HAWKE CUP PRELIMINARY. SHEPHARD GETS A CENTURY. The first representative cricket match of .the season was commenced on Nelson Park, Napier, this morning, when Hawke’s Bay met Wauv< in the preliminary game W decide the right of entering a challenge for the Hawke Cup now held by Taranaki.
