HASTINGS ATHLETIC AND CYCLING CLUB ELECTRIC LICHT MEETING. EVENTS KEENLY CONTESTED The Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club held their sports programme at Nelson Park, Hastings, last night, when, though the weather was cold, there was a considerable attendance. A good evening’s sport was provided, many of the events being keenly fought out to the end, a feature of the gathering being the mile foot race, in which the unplaced competitors. who were far behind, finished like the good sports that they were, amidst the applause of those who understood their fine spirit.
