FAT SHEEP HARDEN—STORES STEADY.
At Storrforu Lodge saleyards toda ythere was a small entry of fat cattle. Most of these were of good quality, and brought better prices than US" o ', "specially for nrime cows. Apart from the usual entry of dairy bred stock, there was a comparatively small yarding o r store cattle and good prices were obtained. The fat sheep entry was also smaller than usual, and prices showed a firming tendency. A fair number of store sheep, particularlv wheth»r» were offered, all lines being keenly competed for, though wethers appeared to show a slight easing in value. FAT CATTLE. Cows: Prime £7 10/- to £8 17/6, medium £5 7/6 to £7. light £4 8/- to £5 5/-. Bullocks: Prime heavy £ll 5/- to £ll 12/6. light prime £lO 10/-. Heifers: Light £4 10/- to £B 10/-. Vealers: Big £2 7/6 to £2 10/-. STORE CATTLE. Bullocks and Steers: 20 good fwd. cond. 3-yr.
