INDIAN COMMISSIONERS
UNOPPOSED AT ELECTIONS.
(Received 21, 11.3 a.m.) (British Official Wireless). London. Nov. 20. The suggestion has been made that the five members of the Indian Commission who belong to the House of Commons should, by arrangement between the parties, be unopposed at the general election. It is pointed out that with the difficult and delicate duties devolving upon them the Commissioners will have little opportunity to keep in touch with their constituencies. The proposal seems certain of adoption.
