RUGBY FOOTBALL.
WARATAHS AGAIN WIN.
NORTHUMBERLAND PLAYS A FINE GAME.
London, Nov. 19. The Waratahs defeated Northumberland by 14 to 9 (a placed goal and three tries to a penalty goal snd two tries). The home team held the Waratahs, whose handling was shaky, for the first half. The visitors did better in the second half and levelled scores. A last minute splendid effort secured a converted try. The Waratahs did not play great football, On the other hand the county gave a surprisingly good exhibition.—(A. and N.Z.)
