WAIPUKURAU CLUB. On the Alt. Vernon range during the week-end the Waipukurau Defence Rifle Club fired off the second round of the Hunt Shield and Hodge Cup. A fish-tail wind made shooting at times very difficult, elevation trouble being very general, which is, perhaps, due to the Mark VII. ammunition the club is using, the general opinion being that it is not up to the standard of Mark VI.
