PERSONAL NOTES.
Mrs J. Wallace, of Sydney, is staying in Napier on a holiday. Miss G. and J. McHardy, of Palmerston North, are staying in this district for a holiday visit. Miss Olive Sloane, who takes the leading part in “The Cradle Snatcher” (J. C. Williamson’s play which runs next week in Wellington) is a New Zealand girl who was a pupil of the Marsden School, Wellington. Mr and Mrs Bernard Chambers and Miss Hazel Chambers, of Te Mata, Mrs C. Gordon and Mr lan Gordon have all motored down to Dunedin, to attend the wedding of Mr Bernard Chamber (junr.) to Miss M. Nancarrow, ■ a • Miss Jessica Saunders, of Hastings, is staying in Palmerston North. Miss Esnie Morgan, of Napier, has returned to her home after a long holiday in England.
