FAREWELL TO TENNIS PLAYERS

Miss Nancy Fannin and Miss Rona Woodward, who leave soon to take up their course of Karitane study in Auckland, were tendered a farewell afternoon on Monday at the Hastings tennis courts. A Yankee tournament was the order of the day but unfortunately rain coining on the finish had to be postponed. However, all enjoyed their game and a delicious tea served in the pavilion under the supervision of Misses Morrison and Woodward was much enjoyed by all. Sweet-peas were effectively arranged on the table.
