HASTINGS CITIZENS’ BAND
SUNDAY CONCERT.
One of the most popular pro. grammes yet put on by the above combination will be given on thia Sunday evening commencing at 8.15 in Queen’s Square, Hastings. The Band is now playing np to full strength, and the programme on this occasion should not be missed. The descriptive selection “A Triy to Blackpool ’ is one depicting an outing to this world-renowned seaside resort in England, including several catchy numbers in which band members all sing. Another item, “Ukulele Dream Girl’’ (arranged by Bandsman Ross), is being sung everv. where in New Zealand, and will fee a sure hit on this occasion. The other items will be the waits “Ecstacy” (by special request); overture. “Austral”; hymn, •‘Remington”: selection, “Down the Mississippi”; and two marches, “Perseverance,” and “Australia,’’
