MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
SITTING AT NAPIER.
FOUR ACCUSED REMANDED.
At the Magistrate's Court in Napier this morning. Mr A. M. Mowlem, S.M.. dealt with the following cases:
Rangi W. Williams, a young Maori, was charged that on November 8. at Wairoa. he did steal articles to the value of £6 9s. the property of R. Noble and Co.
On the application of Detective Butler, the accused was remanded until Monday.
Joseph Boyle, John Henry O’Sullivan, and Timothy O’Sullivan were charged with, that on November 10, at Waikare, without lawful excuse, but in circumstances that did not disclose the commission of or intention to commit any other offence, were found in a builjing. the property of Win. E. Saunders. Mr L A. Rogers appeared for the defendants. Detective Butler, in asking that the accused be remanded until Monday week, stated that two charges, on© of breaking and entering, and one of theft, would also be preferred against them.
The ease was adjourned as requested.
