PREPARING FOR ELECTIONS COUNTRY PARTY’S COOPERATION. WORKING ARRANGEMENT DISCUSSED. (Special to “Tribune.”) Auckland, Nov. 17. United Political Party representatives met members of the Country Political Party in Auckland yesterday and successfully discussed a working arrangement in connection with the next elections. Mr. A. A. Ross presided, The Country Party decided to retain its identity while co-operating with the new party. Further negotiations are to take place. Mr. A. E. Davy who is organising the United Political Party, subsequently expressed himself as entirely satisfied with the meeting and his appreciation for the manner in which members of the Country Party had met his colleagues and himself.
