CENTRAL H.B. SUB-ASSOCIA TION.
Mr. J. N. Barrie (Otane) presided over a meeting of the above subassociation held on Tuesday evening in Waipukurau. Messrs. R. Ashby (Otane), Wilder, Johnston (Epanma), Guy, Spencer (Old Boys), Walsh ( n aipuaurau High School; and the secretary also attended. Apologies were received from the delegates of the Waipawa ciuo uml Waipawa High School. Correspondence was dealt with as follows:— Otane Town Board, Waipukurau Borough Council, and Waipawa Borough Council asked for use of grounds for. season.—Received. Messrs. A. F. Judd, Lower Hutt, ■>nd S. F. Simcox, Otaki, asked for matches with the Sub-Association at Waipukurau on the 28th and 30/31 December.—The secretary’s action agreeing to same was confirmed. The Southern H.B. Cricket Association wrote re a representative match at Waipukurau on New Year's Day.—Match agreed to, the secretary being instructed to make suitable arrangements for entertaining the visiting teams. Messrs. Guy, Walsh Spencer and the secretary were elected to the management committee. SATURDAY’S G'UADE FIXTURES. The Hawke’s Bay Cricket Association’s lower grade fixtures for Saturday are as follows:— Second Grade. Technical 0.8. A v. Taradale, Seinde/A v. H. 5.0.8., Scinde B v. High School, Technical 0,8. B v. United. Third Grade. Y.M.C.A. v. High School A, Technical School A v. H. 5.0.8., High School B v. High School C, Technical School B a bye.
