ASSASSINATION OF TROTSKY

UNCONFIRMED REPORTS.

Berlin, Nov. 15. Unconfirmed Warsaw and Petrograd reports state that Trotsky has been assassinated (Sydney “Sun” cable).

The British United Press Association’s correspondent at Moscow reports that Trotsky and Zinovieff have been expelled from the Communist party, and Kameneff, Rakovsky and Smilga expelled from the central executive. The decision followed a long conference of the (central executive control committee, which is the supreme body controlling the conduct and ethics of the party’s members.
