WEDDING

ROXBOROUGH—LETHBRIDGE.

A very prety wedding was solemnised at (jmakare Church last evening, when Miss Hylda Lethbridge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Lethbridge, of Rohae, Omakare, was married to Mr. Gerald Roxborough, of Auckland, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Roxborough, of Hastings, England. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Hall.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was daintily attired in a dress of white georgette, daintily embroidered in exquisite lines of pearl and she looked sweet and youthful in her veil of fine hand-embroidered net. Her evening frock was of palest blue georgette with sparkling silver lace and .over this when ready to leave home she wore the loveliest cloak of pale bluish-green chenille with big collai* and cuffs of snowy white fur and dainty little white hat. The bridesmaids. Miss E. Lethbridge and Miss Una Loudon, looked very pretty in lavender georgette and silver iace and coronets of silver leaves.

Tlie groomsmen were Mr. Haynes and Mr. Langstaff. After the ceremony a delightful reception was held at the residence of the bride’s parents. The hostess, Mrs. Lethbridge, looked charming in black satin with silver embroideries and deep hem of dove coloured fur. Among those present were:—Mrs. W, Anderson, Mrs. and Miss Izard, Mrs. H. Y. Lethbridge, Miss Gladys Anderson, Mr. Dan Lethbridge, Mrs. Avery, Mr. and Mrs. N. Avery, Mr. and Mrs. McKay, Miss M. Barbour, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Lethbridge, Miss Barnett, Mr. Frank Lethbridge, Miss Ruth Lethbridge, Miss Margaret, Douglas, Mr. and Mrs. E. Gilbertson, Mr. Fred Gordon, Mr. Brian Dignan, Mr. and Mrs. Harker. Rev. Hall and Mrs. Hall, Mr. Hugh Hare, Mrs. Holden, Mr. Douglas Kennedy, Mr. F. McHardy, Mr. B. McHardy, Miss Horton, Mr. and Mrs Jack Nairn, Mr. lan Nairn, Mr. Eric Nairn, Mr. R. B. Nation, Mr. and Mrs. Price, Mr. and Mrs. Rainbow, Messrs. H. Rathbone, Speedy and F. Tickner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Douglas, Mrs. Morrison, and Misses Monckton.
