H.B. ASSOCIATION MEETS. Tho monthly meeting of the Hawke’s Bay War Relief Association was held last night, when the following were present: Messrs John Harding (chairman), J. N. Barrie F. E. Stubbs, G. Ebbett, C. 11. Critchley G. S. V. Wenley and 11. 8. M.' Quigley. Leave of absence was granted Messrs C. E. Stewart and E. A. Ransom. M.P. The secretary’s report, showed tho following iceeipts since last meeting: —Advances refunded £1153 2s Bd, interest on loans to soldiers £ll3'l6s Bd, total £1266 19s 4d. Grants to soldiers and dependants:—Dannevirke, 43 soldiers £153 6s, 8 dependants £24 2s 6d; Hastings 24 soldiers £69 9s 9d 2 dependants £4 10s; Takapau, 1 soldier 10s, 2 dependants £26 17s fid; Waipukurau 4 soldiers £3B 15s, 1 dependant £3; Waipawa, 2 dependants £4; Napier 26 soldiers £64 4s 5d 2 dependants £6 18s 8d; total £395' 13s lOd.
