With the extra hour in which to play bowlers in Hawke’s Bay indulged their usual competitions, and found that the extra play enabled them to make good progress. There was a fair muster of bowlers on the Port green on Saturday, and although the high wind blowing made “kitty” more elusive than usual some good games were played.
