MOVEMENT IN ALSACELORRAINE ADVOCATED BY GERMAN PAPERS. FRANC® SUPPRESSES THREE OF THEM. [By Cable— Press Assn. — Copyright] (Received 14, 1.55 p.m,) Paris, Nov. 13. The French Ministry has for some time closely watched the activities of the Home Rule movement in AlsaceLorraine, which is mainly advocated by German newspapers in Strasburg. The movement is alleged to be supported by German money. The Government at the week-end decreed the suppression of three papers—“Volkstimme,” which in a three-column article on contended that the return of Alsace-Lorraine to France was based on an historical error; “Zukunft,” which insisted that the province ought to be independent and outside France, and “Wahrheit,” which declared that Alsace was now a French penal colony and that “we should like to see France disappear from the earth.’’—(A. and N.Z.)
