(Own Correspondent.) Mr A. V. Collins was a very successful exhibitor at the Dannevirkc Show, securing the pony championship and three seconds with his draughts. On Friday night picture patrons are promised a treat. A special bill featuring Colleen Moore in “Irene,” will be presented. This should interest the ladies as it is a particularly good fashion show. On Saturday night listoners-in to the Christchurch concert had the pleasure of hearing Miss Cotton again, whose voice has considerably improved as the result of her present training. able dance on Wednesday night as a wind-up to their gathering. There was a very large number of visitors present. Excellent music was provided by Miss O’Reilly’s orchestra, and the fun was kept up until an early houi.
