ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
(Per Press Association.) The body ot Nuhi Tangi, the second Maori boy drowned at Awakino ou Sunday, was found on the beach ou Thursday afternoon about six miles north of Awakino. Harry Barratt, aged lb, when riding a motor cycle collided with J motoi loi ry proceeding along Maxwell road, Blenheim, When the lorry pulled up the front wheel had to be jacked up to release the youth’s left leg. which was pinned to the road He was removed to the fl airau Hospital and underwent an operation for severe injuries to the leg.
