That Members be requested to forward their Annual Subscriptions to the Secretary on or before the 14th September, so that a complete list of names may be published in the local papers. 2nd. That at next Annual Show, to be held at Hastings on the 15th October, only Sheep and Horses should be exhibited. 3rd. That a Show for Cattle, Grain, Agricultural and Dairy Produce, and Implements, be held at Hastings in February, in conjunction with the Ram Fair. By order, W. ROUTLEDGE. Secretary. Colonial Bank of New Zealand. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that, pursuant to the Deed of Settlement of the Colonial Bank of New Zealand, a Special General Meeting of the Proprietors of the said Bank will be held at the Masonic Hall, Moray Place, Dunedin, in the Province of Otago, on WEDNESDAY, the thirtieth day of September, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-four, at two o'clock p.m., for the purpose of electing seven Directors and two Auditors, to be the first Directors and Auditors of the said Bank. And that every proprietor who is possessed of three hundred shares at the least in the capital of the said Bank, and shall become a candidate for the office of Director, must give notice thereof to the Board of Directors, in writing, to be left at the offices of the said Bank, in Highstreet, Dnnedin aforesaid, thirty days at least before the day of election. And that every person appointed to act as proxy must be a proprietor of the said Bank ; and every proxy must be in writing, under the hand of the proprietor of the shares in respect of which such proxy shall be given, and delivered to the Secretary of the said Bank at least twenty-four hours before the time appointed for the said meeting. Copies of the said Deed of Settlement, and proxy forms, may be had on application at the office of the said Bank, in High-street, Dunedin aforesaid. By order of the Provisional Directors. WM. Carden, at the Mansionhouse, London, on the 6th June, 1874, for having fraudulently counterfeited their trade mark and label, hereby give notice that they will prosecute all persons pirating their said label and trade mark or infringing their rights in respect to the same.-J.
