Live Stock—Messrs Hunter and Nolan report dairy cows in good demand at from £7 10/ to £l2 ; fat cattle, 35/ to 40/ p lOOftsUnless shipments of cattle arrive, the supply will be most limited. Sheep are in limited numbers, and are keenly contested for at 3j4 f 81bs. Produce.—Mr W. Binney reports the grain market dull. Stocks in first hands are very heavy. Oats, s\ ; barley, 5/9 ; wheat, 6/3 ; £7 10/ ; pollard, £8 ;' flour, £U ■; maize, 5/6 ; hams and bacon, -/10 to -/ll ; butter, 1/3 ; cheese, -(8 ; peas and beans, 5/. Kauri, in logs and sawn, is plentiful. WELLINGTON. 24th July. Produce.—Flour—Canterbury, £l2 15/ to £l3; Oamaru. £l3 10/. Oats, 4/9 to 5/. MELBOURNE. 15th July. Breadstuffs are without material altera tion. Sugars show a decline. LONDON., 10th July. Wool }8 selling privately at a slight advance. The wheat market is droppiug. Adelaide is fetching 62/ to 64/ f 496 tbs ; flour, 41/ to 45/ per 280fos. The Californiau wheat crop is nearly double that of last year.
