Rangatira, Capt. Chas. Lloyd, arrived from Wellington at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, and left for Poverty Bay at 5.15 p.m. next day.—She will steam for Wellington at 12 o'clock this morning. The s.s. Fairy, Capt. J. Campbell, left Wairoa at 9.30 a.m. on Wednesday, and arrived in port at 4 o'clock the same afternoon. The s.s. Murray, Capt. A. Palmer, left Nelson at 9 p.m. on Monday ; experienced heavy weather in the Straits, and had to run into Worser's Bay on Tuesday afternoon. Left there on Wednesday morning, arriving here at 7 a.m. yesterday. She will leave for Wellington at 4 p.m. to-day. The ketch Mary Ann Hudson took her departure for Wairoa on Monday evening but was in the bay yesterday afternoon. The ketch Three Brothers sailed for Whakaki and Poverty Bay on Tuesday evening. The s.s. City of Adelaide left Wellington for Napier at 3.30 p.m. yesterday. She will steam for Auckland and Kandavau immediately after arrival to-day. The s s. Pretty Jane left Auckland for Napier via Gisborne at 4.40 p.m. on Tuesday, and may be expected during to-day. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. AUCKLAND. 4th June, The Olio has arrived from New Caledonia WELLINGTON. 2nd June. The late Wreck.~The remains of the wreck of the Earl of South Esk and two boats were sold by auction to-day for £ls. MELBOURNE. 26th May. The Pilot schooner Corsair was wrecked at the Heads early on Sunday morning. Five pilots were on board at the time; they were all saved. The Rouparill, with immigrants, for Auckland, has been spoken. The Southern Cross, steamer, 139 tons, iutended for carrying stock between Auckland and Napier, has put in here short of fuel. After being cleaned and painted she will resume her voyage. The barque Verulam, bound for New Zealand, has been spoken south of the equator. Both the dismasted ship?, Lochart and John Kerr, are now in port. There was one civil case in the Resident Magistrate's Court, on Tuesday— Orraond v. Morgan, a claim of £7 15s 4d. on an immigrant's promissory note.—Judgment was given for the amount claimed and 13s. costs; to be paid at the rate of £2 monthly.—Yeserday one drunkard was fined five shillings.
