Star of the South, s.s., from Auckland Dawn, cutter, from Poverty Bay Ballarat, barque, from Loudon Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, from Wairoa Three Brothers, ketch Greenwich, cutter PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Star of the South, s.s,, for Auckland, on Friday Dawn, cutter, for Poverty Bay, this evening Mary Ano Hudson, ketch, for Wairoa, to-morrow The C.G. p,s. Luna, Capt. Fairchiid, arrived in port at about 7 o'clock last night, from Wellington, and left again about IQ p.m., for Auckland via the coast. The s.s. Star of the South, Captain Holmes, arrived here at 12 o'clock last night, bringing about 130 tons general cargo and a number of passengers. She left Auckland at 9 p.m. oa Saturday, 2nd inst., and rounded the East" Cape at 2 p.m. on Monday. Arrived at Poverty Bay at 3 a.m. yesterday; landed cargo and 4 passengers, and left for Napier at 8 a.m, Rounded Portland Island at 4
p.m., and arrived here as above. Had bead winds throughout the passage.—The Star will leave again on Friday, for Auckland. The s.s. J£eer;\ from Napier and Poverty Bay, arrived at Tauranga at 6 o'clock this morning, and left for Auck* Jand at 10.45 a.m. The ship Queen Bee, which arrived at Auckland on the 29ih ult., 100 days out from London, brought the following cargo for Napier : 1 cask, Watt Bros.; 6 cases, H. R. Holiier; 1 case, J. G. Kinross and Co. ; 2 bales, J. Heslop ; 3 bales, J. Chambers ; 20 packages, J. G. Gordon; 4 cases, Stuart and Co.; 2 cases, order. The barque Glenhuntly, which arrived at Auckland from London on the 27th ult., brought the following cargo for Napier : —137 pkgs.. Watt Bros.; 7 bales and (30 pckgs., order; 1 case, Kinross & Co. i 6 drums, N. Williams. The schooner Colonist left Auckland on the g7th ult., for Mercury Bay, Poverty Bay, and Napier. She will bring a cargo of timber to this port. The barque Albion left Auckland on the Ist November, fur a whaling cruise ;n the South Seas,
