She was detained by a souther at Poverty Bay, left there at 4 p.m. yesterday, landed 10 men of the Armed Constabulary force at Wangawehi, and arrived here at 5.30 this morning. Met with rather bad weather on Monday night. Capt. Fairchild reports all quiet at the Chatham Islands. The rumor of threatened disturbances is said to have arisen from misapprehensions concerning a native meeting.—The Luna will steam for Wellington this evening.
