The brigantine Esther, in being brought juto the Iron Pot this afternoon, took the ground on the boulder bank in the entrance. She will probably come off at high water to night. The s.s. Star of the South, from Auckland, has not yet arrived, having doubtless felt to a considerable extent the influence of the late southerly weather. Thß s.s. Keera left Wellington for this port at 9 o'clock last night. The schooner Lsetitia cleared at the Customs to-day, for Auckland, in ballast. She will probably sail to-morrow. We may now daily expect to hear of the arrival at Auckland of the ship Robert Henderson, from London, that vessel being 110 days out. This clipper ship will come on to Napier on discharge of her Auckland cargo, and load wool here for the home market. We understand that the ship Chile, with some 200 immigrants, was to have left London for Napier direct on the Ist September, This vessel will also load with wool at this port for London direct during the approaching season.
