Thursday, Sept. 19. Ilf the House of Representatives iast night the following measures were read a second time :—The Auckland Mechanics’ Institute Site Sale Bill, the Auckland Temperance Hall Site Sale Bill, and the Limbed Liability Joint Stock Company Bill. The Drainage Bill was also read a second time—only, however, to affirm its piinciple, it being: then withdrawn, as it was cono * sidered too late now for it to pass this session.
