AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK MARKET. (Reports to July 18.) [MESSRS. HUNTER AND NOEA.N.] Cattle : Dairy cows were not nearly so plentiful as the previous week, with but little alteration in- value. No n'rvt-olass offered, but good useful animals at their profit sold at from £6 to £9 2s ; dry and inferior, from Jt"2 17s 6d to 10s. Store slock were but poorly represented, but a fair demand exists, and fully late rates obtainable. There was a fair muster of fat stock, but a very few in prime condition; the competition was good, at from 22s to 25s per IOOIbs. Sheep continues in limited supply, and an unsatisfied demand exists for fat, at from 3s 4d to 3s 8d per 81 bs. Stores still continue in good request. A few quarter bred ewes, in. low condition, sold for 18s 3d each.
