We notice that the Napier leaves for poverty Bay to-morrow evening. Nq business came before the Resi dent Magistrate's Court this morning. The steamer Rangatira is advertised to depart hence for the South on or about Thursday. Mails tor Auckland, per Star of the South, close at the Port office at 9.30 a.m- to morrow. It is, reported from Wairoa that the crops in that district have been very indifferent this season. Tenders for the repair of the Three Brothers will be received at Messrs. Kinross & Co.'s store up to to-morrow Telegraphic communication was interrupted to-day with al! places south of Napier. The stoppage was bat of short duration. A new industry has been staited in the colony—the '"City of the North " boasts a bellows maker. He asks for a protective duty !
