Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, from Wairoa Greenwich, cutter, from Waikari Three Brothers, schooner, (laid up) "Una, steam launch Lily, steam launch PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Rangatira, s.s., for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland, about the 20th inst. Mary Ann Hudson, ketch, for Wairoa early The N.Z.S.S. Co/s s.s. Eeera, Capt. Carey, hence at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, arrived at Wellington at 10 o'clock last night, after a protracted passage of 33 hours, having no doubt experienced heavy southerly weather yesterday. The steamers Star of the South, from Auckland, and the Napier, from Auckland via Poverty Bay, may both be looked for here early next week. By a telegram in the Herald, we observe that the schooner Saucy Lass, from Napier, arrived at Auckland on the 16th inst. This vessel may be shortly expected to return to this port with a cargo of timber from Mercury Bav. The s.s. Alhambra, from Melbourne, arrived at Hokitika yesterday morning. The ship Naomi, having on board 300 cases kauri gum and 500 bales flax, left Auckland on the 6th inst., for New Bedford, U S.A., via Russell (Bay of Islands), where she would take in a quantity of whale oil. The ship Wild Duck, recently arrived at Auckland from London, commenced discharging cargo on the 10th inst. A portion of this vessel's cargo is for Hawke's Bay. The barque Chatanooga, from Newcastle, N.S.W., arrived at Auckland on the 10th jnst. On discharge of her inward cargo, this ■vessel will take in a cargo of kauri gum and flax for New York. The ship Excelsior, from Auckland, made the run home in 91 days. She left Auckland on the 30th September, and arrived at London on the 30th December. The barque Alice, from Auckland, arrived at New York on the 21st February, having made the passage in 104 days.
