!TpE b.s. Napier, Captain BendalJ, arrived in port at 7-30 last evening, from Poverty Bay. The s.B. Star of the South, Captain Holmes, left Napier on Friday, 29th March, at 10 a.m. Experienced strong head winds till rounding (;he East Cape, on Saturday, at noon. Eine weather thence to the Thames, which was reached at 10 p.m. on Sunday. Discharged her cargo—6o nead of cattle and 300 sheep, lo the order of Mr Banks ; the next morning jeft Tararu at 11 a.m., and arrived in Auckland at 4 p.m. Left Auckland again at $.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 3rd April,—and arrived in Ahunri roads at 12 o'clock last night. Experienced northerly wind with thick weather and rain during the greater part of the paspage. She is the bearer of about 20 tons general cargo. We are indebted to Mr Hughes, the second officer, for oar files of papers and other favors. — The Star will leave ;port again on Monday evening, for Auckland. The N.Z.S.S. Cq.'s s.s. Keera, Capt. Carey, from Wellington Lyttelton, and Dunedin, arrired in the roadstead at 8.30 this morning, and entered the Iron Pot at 2 p.m. She was the bearer of a general cargo and £0 lambs.— The Eeera leaves port to-morrow for Poverty Bay, Tauranga, and Auckland. The brigantine Esther left port to-day, for Wellington via Blackhead aud Wangaehu, with (ior Wellington) 4 bales and 76 quarterbales wool, 5 tons soap, 9 cases luggage, &c.; and sundry miscellaneous goods for the coast. The brig Maggie, Captain Arnold, arrived at Auckland on March 29, from Adelaide, aiter a long passage of 49 days. She experienced head winds all the way, but, on the whole, had a fine-weather passage. She was %he bearer of a full cargo of wheat.
