Ottawa, schooner, for Wellington, early Venus, brig, for London, early Ballarat, barque, for London, on the 15th January 'The Colonial Government steamer Luna, ,Capt. Fairphild, from Wellington, arrived in port about 6 o'c'ock last evening, and took ner departure again about 9.30 p.m., for various places along the East Coast. The schooner Hero sailed for Mohaka about 7 o'clock last evening, with a general cargo. The s.s. Napier steamed hence at an early hour this morning, for Mahia, with a miscellaneous cargo. The schooner Onehunga, hence on the 10th inst., with a cargo of wool and potatoes, ar- [ rived at Wellington on the 17th. She met ; with a heavy N.W. galo on the passage, which blew her 100 miles off the laud, and meeting with other unfavorabie winds did not reach , her destination till the date mentioned above. - The ship Halcione, Capt. Bishop, with a large cargo of wool, flax, &c, took her departure for London from Wellington on the 14th 1 inst. fche also took several passengers. i The brigantine Mary Ann, 10 days from ( Newcastle, arrived at Wellington on the 16th k instant.
