The steam lauch Una is undergoing an overhaul on Mr Days' slip. The natives and Europeans residing at Ohinemmi are agitating for the establishment of steam communication between that district and Grahams town.
We observe from late Auckland p-.tper that Mr Walker, who lately defeated the ejf-chapion Christie in a rifle match at Dunedin, has been entertained at a banquet held, at the Governor Eowen hotel at the Thames. The banquet was provided by a number of Mr Walker's friends and admirers, and the opportunity was further improved by presenting the champion, shot with a handsome tea service of plate subscribed for by the Thames public subscriptions, being limited to half a-erovyn.
