THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY.
The Evening Post having stated that it was probable the next meeting of the General Assembly would meet for the despatch of business about the 20th of July, the Independent says :—" The Post knows more about the date than the Government, We have the best authority for stating that no day has yet been fixed."
