FIRE AT MEANEE.
A fire broke out last night about 11.30 in the residence of Mr R. D. Maney, at Meanee. Assistance was soon at hand, but the fire had taken so firm a hold of the house that all eftorts either to extinguish it or to save pro perty were in vain, and the building was quickly reduced to ashes. The house ta as a large and valuable building, and Mr Maney's loss is very great.
