Government Annuities Office, Wellington, Ist Dee., .1870. - JOTICE is hereby given that vernraent Insurance and An: nuities Offices, under "The Government Annuities Act, 1869," and "The New Zealand Government Insurance and Annuities Act, 1870," have beea opened at the Pest Offices at NAPIER, TAURANGA, GREFTOWiNV And all the principal'! Money Ordet Offices in the Colony., The following advantages are secured by special provisions in the abovementioned Acts : 1. Up to a certain amount, Assurance Policies bon+ fide effected by the Assured upon his own lite, and Endowment Policies, and Annuities purchased for the benefit of Wife or Children, are exempted from the operation of Bankruptcy Acts, and from seizure under legal process. 2. Up to a certain amount, Married Women may effect Polities, and dispose of the money assured by will, as r* singl*; and such Policies are free from the debts and control of their husbands. 3. Insurances may be effected for the benefit of Wife and Children, With to apportion amount; and such insurance is to be free from the claim of creditors, to. the extent of £2,000. All persons wishing to obtain Lifa Insurances, Endowments, Annuities, immediate or deferred, or other advantages under the Acts, will receive every information and the necessary forms on application at any of the above-named offices.
