Resident Magistrate's Court.— No cases this morning.

The Pilotage Eeceibbts at Fort Ahuriri for the month ending 30th A]3i'il amounted to «£4G lis 6d.

There have been eKtraordinarily low tides at thin port during the past four or live days—lower than has been known for some years.

The Nevada, from San Francisco via Honolulu, was due at Auckland to day. She would remain 48 hqurs, and then leave for Napier and other Southern Ports —arriving here, if all goes well, on Sunday next.

The Thermopylae Mr Warne's steam launch —may be expected to arrive here by the JNeyada,

Napier Musical Society.—Attention is drawn to the fact that the price of admission at the next concert will be 2s 6d to all pans of the Hall.

Dramatic. —We would draw attention to the performance to night in the Oddfellows' Hall by the United Napier Garrick and Artillery Volunteer Clubs. The company, in selecting the " Ticket-of-Leave Man" for. representation, have taken a hold step, but w e do not doubt p,f t{e.ir success. The indefatigable Mr Kemp has been for some time past busily engaged upon the si enery, and has produced some very effective scenes.
