DUNEDIN.
Saturday, April 22. Another fatal case of scarlatina is reported from Switzer's. John Johnston, proprietor of the Waikara saw mills, vas drowned while rafting timber. Mr Shepherd, schoolmaster at Teviot, died suddenly of appoplexy. Flour is firm at £l2 ; wheat, scarce, and selling at from 4s 6d to 4s 9d; oats, 2s 3d to 2s 6d, and well supplied.
