ANNUAL LICENSING MEETING.

Tuxford and T. K. Newtop. Annie Charles, Commercial Hotel, Port Ahuriri.—J. LeQuesne and N. Jacobs. David Vaughan applied for a licence for an hotel to be built on the Te Ante road, at Olive. A plan of the proposed building was handed in. No public no titication having been njade, the application was adjourned for three weeks, that the requisite forms might be complied with.
Samuel Caldwell applied for the renewal of the licence of the West Olive Hotel. Mr Lee appeared foi? the applicant. Inspector Scully opposed the application, w the house" vvas badly conducted. . Mr Lee ssid tha-t the fault lay with the brother, who formerly had held the license.—Application refused. -
