Last night the mate and one of the sailors from the schooner Ohaw.a went off to the Beautiful Star, to pick up their captain, who was supposed to be on board. The captain, however, wa« not there, and the men got into the boat to return to the vessel. Hart, of the Star, watched the . boat till about a steamer's length off the Ohawa. This morning the boat was found three miles down the coast, empty, and blood spots over it. It is supposed that the men have been murdered, and the bodies sunk. They had been drinking on board the steamer.

BLUFF. Saturday, April 15. The Tararua .sailed for Melbourne, and ihe schooner Mary Ann, for the same place.

WELLINGTON. Monday, April 17. A telegram has been received from Captain FairchiJd, of the Colonial Government p.s. Luna, stating that he arrived this morning at Grey mouth. The Luna had experienced very stormy weather after leaving the BlulF, off Martin's Biy, and for three days could not effect a landing, and having eventually to run for it on account of the heavy gales. His Excellency the Governor will not be ready to leave Greymouih before Thursday next. The s.s Taranaki arrived in harbor yesterday about noon.

ALEXANDRA. Monday, April 10. It is currently reported that Kewi and seventy men will shortly visit Mr McLean in Auckland. If they return safe Tawhiao will a isit hiin afterwards.
