Monday, April 10. The reefs in the Lake District are looking up. At the Ida Valley, the deep lead prospects are very encouraging. The week's yield was 194 ounces, and it runs li ounces to the ton. A lead has been discovered in some new ground opened at Lands', yielding 35 ounces. John Pascoe, manager of the Cornish Company at Skipper's, while oiling the machinery, was caught by his scarf, dragged in, and killed instantaneously.
