European Telegrams via San Francisco may now be expected to reach Napier at any moment. Concert To-night.—We wouldagain draw public attention to the Napier Musical Society's concert, announced for this evening ac 8 o'clock in the Oddfellows' Hall. Books of words will be supplied at 6d each. The s.s. Napier will leave for Poverty Bay and Auckland at 4 p.m. to-mor-row (Saturday.) In connection with this vessel, it is a matter to be regretted that she will have to proceed to sea Without being repaired at this port, for, slight as the damage is that she has sustained, there is not the requisite convenience here to give her an overhaul. We are glad, however, to hear from Mr t) Days, of this port, that he has obtained the lease of a piece of ground on Gough Island from the Government for purpose of erecting a slip, and that she work will be at once proceeded
