Election Notice. ELECTORAL DISTRICT OF NAPIER COUNTRY. IN PURSUANCE of " The Regulations of Election Act, 1870," I, George Andrew Oliver, Esq., Returning Officer for the Electoral District of Napier Country, do hereby give notice that by virtue of a Writ, bearing date the fourth day of February, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, under the Public Seal of the Colony, an Election will be held for the return of two qualified persona to serve as Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay for the said Electoral District; and that the nomination of Candidates will take place at the Police Station, Meanee. in the said Province, at noon on FRIDAY, the twenty-fourth day of February, 1871 ; and that the Poll (if necessary) will be taken on MONDAY, the sixth day of March, 1871. G. A. OLIVER, Returning Officer. The following are the Polling Places for the Electoral District of Napier Country:— Police Station, Meanee (principal polling place). School-house, Puketapu. Col.
