DUNEDIN.
Wednesday, Feb. 15. The ships Robert Henderson, Gtago, and Chile have tailed for London with cargoes valued at £130,000. In the Supreme Court to-day. an in formation for conspiracy was applied for against Driver and the Superintendent, at the instance of Mr M'Leod, secretary to Reid's committee. At the suggestion of the judge, the matter was postponed until the elections are over.
A child named Butt has been scalded to death at Waikowa.
Election returns.—Tuapeka : Brown, 348; Cutten, 82. Port Chalmers: Macandrew, 182 ; J ago, 52. The returns from Blueskin have yet to come in, but will not influence the 7.50 p.m.—The Blueskin returns reduce Macandrew's majority to (1 by) 30.
