WANGANUI.
Monday, Jan. 16. Mr. Shephard, proprietor of Cobb's Coach, reached New Plymouth on the evening of Thursday last, - -the hon. the Premier and Mrs Fox being passengers. The town was greatly excited; 150 horsemen went to meet the coach on the road, and 1000 people were wailing for its arrival in town. A banquet given on the occasion, at which 200 people were present, was a great success. Mr Fox spoke at length.
