DEOEMBEB. 20—Three Brothers, schooner, 23 tons, H. Ross, for Moeangiangi, with 1 half-ton flour, % box tea, 2 bags salt, % gunnies *ugar, Qider. : —G. E. CK Richardson, agent. The new steamer Napier, Capt. W. Bendall, arrived in port at 1 o'clock this afternoon, having on board the English mail via San Francisco. She left Auckland at 2.15 p.m. on Saturday, 17th inst., and arrived at the Hot Springs at 5, leaving again at 6 the same evening. Had fresh S.W. winds across the Bay of Plenty, and rounded the East Cape at 9 p.m. on Sund ty ; arrived at Tologa Bay at 4 a.m. on Monday 5 received on board a quantity of wool from Messrs. Rhodes's station the same evening a) 9 o'clock ; had fresh head winds to Mahia Peninsula, and moderate variable winds across Hawke's Bay, arriving in the Iron at 1 p.m. to-day.—The Napier, it wjll be seen by advertisement, leaves for Poverty Bay at 2 p.m. to-morrow, returning tp Napier on the following day via Mahia. The s.s. Rangatira left Wellington for this port at }2 35 p.m. to day. She may therefore be looked for to morrow afternoon.
