Ross, master, left Napier on Sunday last, 20th inst., at 8 p.m., and arrived at Waimarama at 10 a.m pn Monday; discharged part of cargo, and shipped 8 bales of wool, when, a heavy N.E. wind setting in compelled her to put to sea. Stood off and on until Friday morning, when, returning to Waimarama, she finished loadiug with wool, and left for Napier at 3 p.m. yesterday ; had light S. wind down, arrrived in the roadstead at 2 o'clock this morning, and entered the Iron Ppt at 9 a.m. The s.s. Keera,'Capt. J. Bain, arrived here this morning, at 9 o'clock. She left Auckland at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, 23rd instant, with , strong N.N.E. breeze and thick rainy weather ; rounded Cape Colville at 1 a.m. pn the 24th, and at 4 p.m. White Island bore south 10 miles; rounded the Ea-t Cape at 2 a.m. pn the 25th ; had light S. and W. winds, and arrived at Poverty Bay; at 1 p.m. j landed pargo and passengers, and took her departure at 4.30 ; arrived at Mahia at 8.30 p.m., and landed Mr Walker; at 9.30 p.m. proceeded pn her voyage j had strong S.W. breeze, with heavy sea, and arrived in the roads at 9 p'clock this morning, and entered the Iron Pot at once. It will be observed that the Keera is advertised to leave for Auckland on pr about Tuesday next. 29th. inst. We learn that the new steamer Napier may be expected to arrive here from Auckland on pr about Thursday next. The schooner Banshee, for Havelock (Marlborough), in ballast, took her departure this jnorning. The s.s. Rangatira, Capt. Renner, left Weir lington for Napier at 4.15 p.m. yesterday. She may, therefore, be hourly looked for. The three-masted schooner Ocean Wave to have left Auckland on the 23rd inst., for the Chatham Islands via Mercury Bay gnd Napier. The schooner Meteor, for Napier via the coast, was to have left Auckland on the 23rd |nstant. The ship Asjterope was expected to leave Auckland this &ay (Saturday.)
