The Weather still continues very gloomy and unsettled. The Inward Mails from Europe and Amerjea via San Francisco may be expected here at any moment. The Outward Mails for Europe and America,, via San Francisco, will be despatched hence on the 29th instant per s.s. Rangatira for "Wellington, whence the mail leaves on the 3rd October. The Aurora Australis was visible in the southern heavens on Saturday night, the sky appearing of a deep red color, with bands of white. The night being cloudy, only an imperfect view could be obcained of this beautiful phenomenon.
